Austria Center Vienna


The Austria Center Vienna (ACV) is the only conference center in the world that is directly connected to a UN headquarters. This is where internationality is lived.

Surrounded by state-of-the-art architecture, just seven minutes from the city center and a few minutes' walk from the Danube and the Danube Park: as Austria's largest conference center, the Austria Center Vienna can accommodate 20,000 people and has 24 halls for 100 to 4,320 people, 180 meeting rooms and 22,000 m2 of exhibition space.

Public transportation

Subway U1, hop off at station "Kaisermühlen/VIC (Vienna International Center)" and take the exit to Schüttaustrasse.

Please note: Due to modernisation work, the U1 towards Leopoldau will not stop at the Kaisermühlen VIC U1 underground station from 25 April to 7 August 2022. To get to the Austria Center Vienna, please take the U1 towards Kagran and cross the central platform for trains traveling in the opposite direction. Then take the U1 two stops towards Oberlaa and get off at Kaisermühlen VIC.

Arrival via subway

By car

By car, you can reach the ACV via the A22 (Donauuferautobahn), exit Austria Center/VIC, the Reichsbrücke or Wagramer Straße. Plan your journey with Google Maps.

The ACV has a secure and covered parking garage with handicapped accessible parking spaces as well as space for trucks and buses.

Green Meeting

The event meets the criteria of the Austrian Eco-label for Green Meetings.

  • Among other things, the following measures are taken:
  • We print only the most necessary documents and use only recycled paper or chlorine-free bleached paper (TCF) for our printed materials.
  • We collect name badges after the event.
  • Our catering meets sustainable criteria such as regionality and seasonality.
  • All partner hotels meet all minimum environmental standards.
  • The conference center is accessible on foot or by public transport.
  • We want to avoid waste and encourage you to do so as well. Appropriate containers will be available at the event to dispose of non-avoidable waste separately.
