Lars Kröplin is Senior Director Corporate Responsibility Strategy at the Lufthansa Group and is responsible for the customer-oriented transformation toward a climate-neutral future of flying. Current focal points of his work are the market launch of Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF), the coordination of the development of sustainable product offerings in the B2B and B2C areas, and the implementation of concrete initiatives, e.g. to reduce plastic and food waste. In addition, he is responsible for all of the Lufthansa Group's offers for voluntary CO2 compensation. He has been with the Lufthansa Group since 1991 and has worked in various commercial and strategic management positions after completing his training as an aviation clerk and business administration graduate. Among others, in the areas of product management, international sales in the USA and Canada, fleet planning as well as business development and transformation of Eurowings.
